Registration fees include a t-shirt and post-ride lunch!

$30.00 includes t-shirt if registered by October 6 (Unisex t-shirt for men & women.
Women have the option to choose a unisex t-shirt or woman’s tank)

$35.00 Day of Ride (t-shirts/tanks while supplies last) – checks and cash only

Ute’s October Blast will be 36 and 62 miles along beautiful A1A originating at Downtown Bicycles, 2533 East Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. Riders in the 36-mile ride will proceed north on A1A to the first rest stop at Spanish River Park in Boca Raton. There cyclists can utilize the stocked rest stop before returning south on A1A back to Downtown Bicycles in Ft. Lauderdale. For those riders wanting to do the metric century (62 miles) they can proceed further north to the next rest stop in Ocean Inlet Park in Boynton Beach. Then all riders will return south on A1A to Downtown Bicycles to enjoy a post-ride lunch, music and a complimentary massage!!

RIDING RULES:

  • Helmets required – No exceptions
  • STOP at red lights - Use hand signals - Obey all traffic rules
  • Riders will use bike lanes and ride no more than 2 abreast
  • No headphones
  • Be courteous to other cyclists and motorists

DIRECTIONS:

Starting at Downtown Bicycles, 2533 E. Sunrise Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale (across from the Galleria Mall). From Highway 95 exit Sunrise East and proceed to bike shop located on north side of Sunrise. Downtown Bicycles is located east of US1 between US1 and the Intracoastal.
